Installing the ONC EP/NCF Software Pack

To store and manage publickey in an LDAP directory server on HP-UX 11i v1, you must

install the ONC EP/NCF Software Pack bundle, ENHKEY, along with the LDAP-UX Integration

product version B.04.00 or later on your client systems.

Installation Procedures

Perform the following steps to install the ONC EP/NCF Software Pack bundle, ENHKEY:

Step 1. Go to the following HP Software Deport web site:

http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot

Select the Enhancement releases and patch bundles link.

Step 2. Select HP-UX Software Pack (Optional HP-UX 11i v1 Core Enhancements).

Step 3. Select the HP-UX Enhanced Key link

Step 4. Download the software bundle depot, Enhkey.depot, and place it on your client

system, /tmp is assumed.

Step 5. Use swinstall to install the ENHKEY bundle:

swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s /tmp/Enhkey.depot

NOTE The ONC product contains a kernel product. Thus installing the product will

cause the system to reboot after the installation is complete.

Verifying the Installation

Use the following commands to verify the ENHKEY software bundle installation:

• To verify that there were no errors during the ENHKEY bundle installation, run the

following command:

swverify ENHKEY

If the ENHKEY bundle is successfully installed, the returned status is 0:
