Installation Requirements
To enable publickey support for LDAP on HP-UX 11i v1, you must install the following
products:
• Netscape Directory Server/Red Hat Directory Server for HP-UX
HP rebrands the Netscape Directory Server to the Red Hat Directory Server starting with
version 7.1.
Use the following steps to download and install Netscape Directory Server 6.x (6.11, 6.21),
7.0 or Red Hat Directory Server 7.1 for HP-UX on your server:
Step 1. Go to the following web site:
http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot
Click on the Security and manageability link.
Step 2. Click on one of the following links on the product catalog web page.
— Netscape Directory Server v6 for Directory Server version 6.x
— Red Hat Directory Server v7 for Directory Server version 7.0
Step 3. Click on the Receive for Free button.
Step 4. Select one of the following product versions in the software specification box,
then click on the Next button:
— HP-UX 11i v1 B.06.11.40
— HP-UX 11i v1 B.06.21.40
— HP-UX 11i v1 B.07.00.10
— HP-UX 11i v1 B.07.10.10
Step 5. Depend on the selection in step 4, select and download one of the following depots in
the download software box. Place it on your system, /tmp is assumed:
— J4258CA B.06.11.40 HP-UX B.11.11 32+64 depot for Directory Server
version 6.11
— J4258CA B.06.21.40 HP-UX B.11.11 32+64 depot for Directory Server
version 6.21
