NIO CommKit Host Interface Installation and System Administration Manual

4-7
Administering the CommKit Software and the STREAMS Listener
Automating Startup on HP-UX
You can define additional entries as needed, up to a maximum of 8. The
syntax of each entry allows more than 1 server per board, but only one
listener per board. If you use more than one server per board, specify a
unique DKSRVNAME variable. Use an array index of 0 for the first entry and
increment the index for each succeeding entry.
Disabling CommKit Startup
To disable CommKit startup completely, comment all entries in the /etc/
rc.config.d/dkit file.
Maintaining the dkhosts and dkdotab Files
For more information on maintaining the dkhosts and dkdotab files, refer to
the dkhosts(4) and dkdotab(4) manual pages.
