Updating the VCS Database

Entering the CPM-HS Module Information

1 At the CCO> prompt, type:

CCO> enter cpm

2 Answer each of the database prompts that appears, pressing Return to accept the

default value or entering one of the other allowed values. Use the following as an

example:

CCO> enter cpm

MODULE ADDRESS:

slot number of CPM-HS module in VCS

COMMENT: anything you like

HARDWARE TYPE: hs

NUMBER OF CHANNELS: 512

CONNECT TIME BILLING: <return>

SINGLE OR MULTIPLE GROUP(S): <return>

GROUP: hpams5x

ENDPOINT NUMBER OR RANGE: <return>

3 Press Delete (or Shift-Escape) to return to the CCO> prompt.

Restoring the CPM-HS Module

1 At the CCO> prompt, type:

CCO> restore cpm

lot_number_of_CPM-HS_module

2 Press Delete (or Shift-Escape) to return to the CCO> prompt.
