Benefits:
• The NIO Commkit Host Interface software allows user's requiring connectivity to a
Datakit network to upgrade to HP-UX 11.11.
Features:
• Release B.11.11.02 continues to provide the following CommKit features:
– support for up to 8 AT&T Datakit interface boards
– support for up to 512 channels per board, for a maximum of 4,096 channels
– both a non-STREAMS (dkserver) and a STREAMS (listener) interface
– both round-robin and forced interface modes for outgoing connections
– the ability to redirect incoming connections by specifying a unique server or listener
name
– the ability to splice a call between channels on the same Datakit interface board
• This release supports a 32-bit or 64-bit kernel and applications.
