Specify which device receives the server
messages. The default allows you to view the
file server messages from the desktop using
Message Monitor.

Control whether a message is sent to the
server display device when the watchdog
logs out a connection. If set to Yes, messages
are sent.
Supported values: Yes, No

enable_ipx_checksums

Determine whether the server validates the
data integrity of IPX packets.
Supported values: Disabled (0)–server will
not check or generate checksums, Enabled–
(1) server will check and generate checksums
if requested, but does not require them,
Required (2)–server requires checksums
Default: Enabled (1)
err_log_file_size=
number
Supported values: 65536 bytes to
4294967294 bytes
Specify the maximum size in bytes of the
error log file SYS$LOG.ERR. When the
maximum size is reached, the error log file is
copied to a backup file, and the error log file
is started over. At any given time, only one
backup file will be kept.
Default: 1048576
