PARTMGR
Managing Replicas
Replicas are copies of the information in the partition. They are stored on
servers in the Directory tree. There are four types of replicas: master, read/
write, read-only, and subordinate.

To From the PARTMGR main menu
Merge partitions
1 Select “Manage Partitions” and browse the
Directory tree to select the partition you want to
merge with its parent.
2 Press <F10>.
3 Select “Merge with Parent Partition.”
4 Press <F1> for help from here.
Create partitions
1 Select “Manage Partitions” and browse the
Directory tree to select the container you want to
be the root object for the partition.
2 Press <F10>.
3 Press <F1> for help from here.
View or manage
replicas
1 Select “Manage Partitions” and browse the
Directory tree to select the partition whose
replicas you want to manage.
2 Press <F10>. Select “View/Edit Replicas.”
3 Press <F1> for help from here.
