Print Queue Options

“File Contents” shows the type of file that was sent for this print job.
“Byte Stream” indicates that this print job consists of a byte stream file, such
as a graphic, or PostScript* file.
“Text” indicates that this print job consists of a text file, containing only
ASCII characters.
“Tab Size” is used only with text files, and indicates how many spaces are
sent to the printer each time a Tab character is received as part of the print job.
“Form Feed” shows whether or not a form feed character is sent to the printer
at the end of this print job.
“Notify When Job is Printed” shows whether Users are notified when this
print job has been completed.
“Entry Date” shows the date that this print job was submitted to the Queue.
“Entry Time” shows the time that this print job was submitted to the Queue.
“Form” shows which printer form will be used to print this print job. You can
select from available printer forms using the drop-down box.
“Print Banner” shows whether or not a banner page with identification
information will be printed as the first page of this print job.
“Name” indicates what will be printed as the name of the User who sent this
print job. This is only valid if a banner page is printed.
“Banner Name” indicates what will be printed as the name of the print job.
This is only valid if a banner page is printed.
“Defer Printing” indicates that the printing of this job is to be delayed until a
later date and time.
“Target Date” shows the date that this print job will be printed. This field is
valid only if “Defer Printing” is selected.
“Target Time” shows the time that this print job will be printed. This field is
only valid if “Defer Printing” is selected.
Viewing or Changing the List of Users for a Print Queue
Objects that are listed as users of a print queue are allowed to submit print
jobs to that print queue and to manage jobs that they submit.
