Supplemental Printing Utilities
In addition to the three core printing utilities, NetWare Services provides
several supplemental utilities, designed to meet specific printing needs for
users on DOS, Windows, Win 95, or NT workstations. These utilities are not
available for HP-UX clients.
The following table describes these utilities.

Utility Tasks
NetWare User Tools
(Windows, Win 95, NT)
Enables users to access network resources, map
drives, set up printing, and send messages.
Printing tasks include setting printer options,
connecting and disconnecting print queues, and
making print queue connections permanent.

CAPTURE
(DOS )
Redirects workstation output to a network printer
or file.

NPRINT
(DOS)
Prints files from outside applications.
For information on NPRINT, see “Using
NPRINT” in Chapter 4.
NETUSER
(DOS)
Captures workstation output to a network printer,
prints files from outside an application, and
monitors print queues. Sends, redirects, monitors,
modifies, or deletes print jobs.
