Step 1: On the Home Agent, Conﬁgure Security Information about

the Correspondent Node

On the Home Agent, use the mipconﬁg conﬁgure node command to conﬁgure security

information about the Correspondent Node. The information you conﬁgure on the Home

Agent must match what you will conﬁgure on the Correspondent Node.

NOTE If the Correspondent Node is multi-homed (it has multiple IP addresses), you must

conﬁgure security information for each IP address on the Correspondent Node by

repeating the configure node command for each address. Each instance of the

command for the same Correspondent Node must have the same security parameters

(SPI, security algorithm and key).
