DHPv6 2.001 Server and Client Recovery
When the DHCPv6 2.001 server crashes, the DHCPv6 2.001 server reads
the client’s lease information, stored in files under the /etc/dhcpv6db
directory, to build its internal database and to maintain the leases. The
server deletes the expired leases in the database.
When a DHCPv6 2.001 client crashes, the client reads the configuration
information stored in the /etc/dhcpv6client.data file to build its
internal database.
