Status Line Information
Session ID
Session ID
The Session ID indicates the identifier of this session, if you have
assigned one. The session ID can be assigned in the style file or specified
on the command line when starting the TN3270 emulation program. If it
is assigned in the style file, it is always in the range A–Z; if it is assigned
on the command line, it may be any ASCII character between 0x01 and
0xFF. Characters other than uppercase A–Z are displayed as an asterisk
( * ).
You must assign a session ID if the session is to be used for file transfer
or for running HLLAPI applications; otherwise, it is optional.
