PPPoE and PPPv6 are bundled as part of Transport Optional Upgrade Release

(TOUR) 1.0, which is available as a web release on the software repository of HP

at the following URL:

Following is a glossary of terms/acronyms used in this document:

Term Description

PPP

Point-to-point protocol.

PPPoE

Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet.

RAC

Remote access concentrator that resides at the ISP and

provides a host of services.

PPPoE Client

The host which requests access to the outside world.

PPPoE Server

The RAC that provides services to PPPoE client(s).

DSL

Digital subscriber line.
