HP FTAM/9000 Release Notes

Patches and Fixes/Enhancements in this Version

HP FTAM/9000 version E.07.00 on HP-UX 11.11 contains the following fixes:

1. JAGac95633

Enhancement Description Enhancement for 64-bit FTAM API

libraries.

2. JAGac40049

Enhancement Description Enhancement for the need to be able to

trace FTAM APIs with environment

variables.

3. JAGad37961

Symptom ftam command "

fcp

" is

failing.

Defect Description For "

fcp login@remote:/file

command ftam opens a connection for

reading attributes of the remote

file.This connection is negotiated with

parameters required for reading

attributes.Then ftam opens another

connection for copying the file.FTAM

initiator is not updating the negotiated

parameters for the second connection

due to which the negotiation fails.

Resolution The negotiated parameters are

maintained per connection.

4. JAGad46194

Symptom HP FTAM hangs in a period of three

days with SUN responder.

Defect Description HP’s FTAM/9000 sends the

calling-AE-invocation -identifier which

is optional in ACSE AARQ-PDU
