File Transfer, Access and Management (FTAM) is an international standard for transfer, access, and management of files in an open network. HP FTAM/9000 is an HP implementation of this standard.

JAGac95633 Enhancement Description Enhancement for 64-bit FTAM API libraries. 2. JAGac40049 Enhancement Description Enhancement for the need to be able to trace FTAM APIs with environment variables. 3. JAGad37961 Symptom ftam command "fcp login@remote:/file login@machine:/file -X" is failing.

Resolution The problem is resolved by maintaining a flag CALLING_AE_INV_ID_FLAG in the ftam_conf file. This flag when set would send the calling-AE-invocation-identifier as part of the ASCE AARQ-PDU & when disabled the calling-AE-invocation-identifier would not be sent as a part of the AARQ-PDU. 5.
HP FTAM/9000 Release Notes Patches and Fixes/Enhancements in this Version Defect Description One of the structure declaration in the ftam demos header file was not ANSI C++ compliant, resulting in compilation error with ANSI C++ compiler. Resolution The structure declaration has been made ANSI C++ compliant. 7. JAGac86629 Symptom FTE011_AE_INVOC_EXHAUSTED: No more AE invocations allowed.
HP FTAM/9000 Release Notes Patches and Fixes/Enhancements in this Version The SHM subsystem has been modified to refer to correct user manuals. 9. JAGad29210 Symptom FTAM shared libraries(.1) doesn’t exist on /usr/lib directory. Defect Description The problem was related to the way, the FTAM shared libraries had been created. We were not giving the desired full shared library path, while creating it.Because of this, the loader was not able to load the libraries when the applications were executed.
