Installation Information

If Enhanced AutoFS is successfully installed, the following message appears:

Verification succeeded

NOTE After installing Enhanced AutoFS, you can specify the maximum data segment

size for an executing process using the maxdsiz kernel variable. The value for

this variable should be at least 256 MB.

It is necessary to change the value of the maxdsiz kernel variable because

automountd requires a larger data segment size in a large map conﬁguration.
