Verifying Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1

Installation

You can verify the Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1 installation as

follows:

• To verify that Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1 is successfully

installed, run the following command:

swlist -l bundle ENHAUTO

If Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1 is successfully installed, the

following message appears:

ENHAUTO B.11.11.0503.1 Enhanced AutoFS, March 2005

• To verify that there were no errors during the Enhanced AutoFS

B.11.11.0503.1 installation, run the following command:

swverify ENHAUTO

If Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1 is successfully installed, the

following message appears:

Verification succeeded

NOTE After installing Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1, you can specify the

maximum data segment size for an executing process using the maxdsiz

kernel variable. The value for this variable should be at least 256 MB.

The value of the maxdsiz kernel variable must be changed because

automountd requires a larger data segment size in a large map

conﬁguration.
