Known Problems and Workarounds

Following lists the known problems and workarounds in Enhanced

AutoFS B.11.11.0503.1:

• After installation, if Enhanced AutoFS is not enabled, the following

message is displayed in the syslog.log ﬁle:

automount: WARNING: default option "nobrowse" ignored for

map -hosts

Workaround: This can be resolved by modifying the

/etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf ﬁle. Set the AUTOFS variable to 1.

Restart the NFS client with the following commands:

/sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop

/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start
