-I Gets only configuration parameters and does
not get IPv6 addresses
-s vendor_specific_option_list Specifies the vendor-specific options that the
client daemon must request from the server
daemon. You must use this option in
conjunctions with the -m option.
Following are the new configuration parameters that the client can use with the -o
option:
sip_sa Obtains one or more SIP server addresses
sip_dl Obtains the SIP domain list
Table 1-1 lists the modified configuration parameters of the -o option.
These modified parameters enable you to specify a list of domain names unlike the old
parameter names, which enable you to specify only a single domain name.
The following parameters or options are modified:
The dns_sa parameter specified with the -o option, now enables you to specify one or
more DNS server addresses.
You can use the -R option with the -m option to notify the client daemon to utilize
IPv6 addresses already obtained for an interface instead of requesting new IPv6
addresses from the server.
For more information on dhcpv6client_ui, type man 1 dhcpv6client_ui at the HP-UX
prompt.
