Installing Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0509.1

If Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0509.1 is successfully installed, the following message

appears:

ENHAUTO B.11.11.0509.1 Enhanced AutoFS, September 2005

• To verify that there were no errors during the Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0509.1

installation, run the following command:

swverify ENHAUTO

If Enhanced AutoFS B.11.11.0509.1 is successfully installed, the following message

appears:

Verification succeeded

NOTE After installing Enhanced AutoFS, you can specify the maximum data segment

size for an executing process using the maxdsize kernel variable. The value for

this variable must be at least 256 MB.

It may be necessary to change the value of the maxdsize kernel variable

because automountd requires a larger data segment size in a large map

conﬁguration.
