Step 7. Issue the following command to run the NFS client shutdown script:

/sbin/init.d/nfs.client stop

Step 8. On HP-UX 11i v2, if you have not enabled AutoFS, ensure that you set the

NFS_CLIENT and AUTOFS variables to 1 in the /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf ﬁle.

On HP-UX 11i v1, if you have not enabled Enhanced AutoFS, ensure that you

enable it. Refer to the “Enabling Enhanced AutoFS” section of chapter 2 in the

Enhanced AutoFS Administrator’s Guide available at the following web site:

Step 9. Issue the following command to run the NFS client startup script:

/sbin/init.d/nfs.client start
