Introducing SIM
The Systems Inventory Manager (SIM) Web application is a tool that allows you to easily
collect, store, and manage inventory and configuration information for HP-UX based
servers and workstations. The Desktop Management Interface (DMI) is used to
gather data from the client servers that are identified to SIM.
This guide describes how to install SIM on machines running the HP-UX operating
system.
