NOTE There may be overlap in the contents of the QPK and HWE bundles, as
each bundle may be used independently and contains all patches needed
to meet dependencies.
A few patches in each bundle will be identical, while each bundle may
contain patches that supersede patches in the other bundle due to the
different objective of each bundle.
Software Distributor (SD-UX) will correctly handle these differences by
selecting the latest patch from a depot that contains both QPK and HWE
bundles when you use the patch_match_target=true option.
For each HP-UX media release, HP verifies the proper selection and
installation of patches using either an individual depot for each patch
bundle or when using a combined depot that contains both patch
bundles.
When installing patch bundles from separate depots, you can install
them in any order.
The HP ISEE software is installed on each server covered by your HP
Support Contract or Warranty Agreement. Supported systems are
configured to communicate directly with the HP Support Center through
your firewall or web proxy server (if a web proxy server is in use).
ISEE Standard Configuration provides MAPs (Motive Application
Programs) for diagnosing and troubleshooting your supported HP-UX
servers and storage devices. MAPs are used in incident creation,
diagnostics, and telemetry collection.

Update
HP will continue to offer patch bundles for HP-UX11i v1 (B.11.11),
including HWE, QPK, and the Software Pack (SPK). We offer these patch
bundles on Support Plus media to customers with support contracts and
also from the Support Plus web page on Software Depot:
