Options and
Operands
XToolkit Options X window options for the GUI. See “XToolkit Options
and Changing Display Fonts” on page 53.
-d Operates on a depot rather than installed software.
“Removing Software from Depots” on page 162 for more
information.
-i Runs a GUI or TUI interactive session. Used to
“pre-specify” software selections for use in the
GUI/TUI.
-p Preview an install task by running it through the
Analysis Phase and then exiting.
-r Operate on an alternate root directory.
-v Turn on verbose output to stdout and display all
activity to the screen.
-C
session_file
Run the command and save the current option and
operand values to a session_file for re-use in another
session. See “Session Files” on page 61.
-f
software_file
Read a list of software selections from a separate file
instead of (or in addition to) the command line. See
“Software Files” on page 58.

date
Schedules a job for the given date when remote
operations are enabled. See “Scheduling Jobs from the
