PHSS_29731 Runtime X/Motif Patch Could Not Be
Installed
During a cold install or update, you may encounter a warning
message similar to the following in the swverify log:
WARNING: [140394] The patch 'PHSS_28875, l=/, r=1.0' contains
some filesets which are superseded and some filesets which
are not superseded. The superseding patch may be incorrect
or may need to be reapplied.
This warning is caused by the following items being installed
during the same session:
• X11
• TechPrintServ
• PHSS_29371 (note that this is the "superseding patch" that
the warning text refers to)
You can find the X11 and TechPrintServ filesets in the
Operating Environments (OEs) on the core media, and you can
find patch PHSS_29371 in the June 2004 Quality Pack patch
bundle on the Support Plus media.
What to Do
You must reinstall patch PHSS_29371.
