HP-UX Operating System
HP-UX 11i v1 can be installed with or without an Operating
Environment (OE). However, we strongly recommend installing a
complete OE. If you choose to install or update to HP-UX 11i v1
without an OE, a minimum operating system (OS) installation
must include these bundles: HPUXBase, HPUXBaseAux,
BUNDLE11i, HWEnable11i, FEATURE11-11, and OnlineDiag.
These HP-UX 11i v1 OS bundles are installed by default from CD:
