"No Network Interfaces Configured" Warning During

Cold-Install

After cold-installing the June 2003 HP-UX 11i v1 TCOE, the

following warning messages may appear in the swagent.log

WARNING: There are no network interfaces configured at this time.

The default networking parameters cannot be configured

for this Ignite-UX server. Please use the instl_adm(1M)

command to set the server's IP address (-t), netmask(-m)

and default gateway (-g) as desired. You may instead,

re-run this configure script after networking is

configured using the command:

"/usr/sbin/swconfig -xreconfigure=true Ignite-UX.BOOT-KERNEL"

WARNING: The "configure" script for "Ignite-UX.BOOT-KERNEL-PA"

had a warning (exit code "2"). The script location was

"/var/adm/sw/products/Ignite-UX/BOOT-KERNEL-PA/config

ure".

* This script had warnings but the execution of

this fileset will still proceed. Check the above output

from the script for further details.

What To Do

Run the following command to configure your network interfaces:

/usr/sbin/swconfig -xreconfigure=true Ignite-UX.BOOT-KERNEL-PA
