HP-UX 11i v1 Operating Environments (OEs)

Operating Environments are tested and integrated application

bundles designed to work with the operating system and provide

the functionality needed for your system’s purpose. The following

list details the currently available HP-UX 11i v1 OEs:

• HP-UX 11i v1 Foundation OE (FOE)— No-charge

Internet server environment including applications such as

Apache Web Server, and Java

• HP-UX 11i v1 Enterprise OE (EOE) — Extra-cost

package containing the Foundation OE and additional

applications such as GlancePlus.

• HP-UX 11i v1 Mission Critical OE (MCOE) — Extra-cost

package containing the Enterprise OE, plus applications

such as HP ServiceGuard and Workload Manager.

• HP-UX 11i v1 Minimal Technical OE (MTOE) —

Includes NDS, Perl, VxVM, and Judy applications, plus the

OpenGL Graphics Developer’s Kit.

• HP-UX 11i v1 Technical Computing OE (TCOE) —

Includes most applications in the HP-UX11i FOE plus

extensive graphics applications.
