What’s New in HP-UX 11i v1

This section provides a quick overview of what is new, has

changed, and has been deprecated or obsoleted in the HP-UX 11i

v1 September 2005 release.

Note HP Servicecontrol Manager has been removed from

the HP-UX 11i v1 Operating Environments (OEs) as

of the September 2005 update release. HP Systems

Insight Manager (SIM), which is delivered on the

OEs as of September 2005, replaces Servicecontrol

Manager version 2.5 and later. If you have a previous

version of Servicecontrol Manager installed on your

system and would like to install HP SIM you must

first manually remove Servicecontrol Manager.
