HP Predictive Support Will Not Work With September
2003 OnlineDiag Bundle
The patch PHSS_29457 has been issued:
PHSS_29457 - s700_800 11.11 Predictive Cumulative Patch
The HP Predictive Support software for HP-UX servers will not
function after the installation of the September 2003 release of
the OnlineDiags bundle.
While Predictive is not delivered on the Support Plus media for
HP-UX 11iv1, the software may have been installed by HP
Support Engineers from a depot that was previously available
from the software.hp.com website.
Customers must install the HP-UX 11i v1 (B11.11) Predictive
patch PHSS_29457 for Predictive software to operate with the
September 2003 release of the OnlineDiags bundle.
An alternate solution exists with the Instant Support Enterprise
Edition (ISEE) software that replaces the HP Predictive Support
product.
Many HP-UX servers now have ISEE installed, and the
Predictive product is disabled during the installation of the ISEE
