HPSIM Configure or Repair Agents Task Does Not Work
The HP Systems Insight Manager’s (HPSIM) Trust Relationship
Set to trust by certificate
checkbox in the Configure or Repair Agents
task does not work in the HP-UX 11i v1 December 2006 release.
This task establishes single sign-on capability with the System
Management Homepage, so that you are not prompted to login to
System Management Homepage when launched from HPSIM. It
also affects the ability to launch
Configure Disk Thresholds task
and the
Deploy Software/Firmware task against Windows and
Linux targets.
What To Do
Establish the trust relationship from the target to the HPSIM
central management server. To do this, bring up the System
Management Homepage on each target system and configure the
trust relationship:
1. For HP-UX enter: http://<

For Windows/ Linux enter: https://<

2. Navigate to
Settings>Security>Trusted Management Servers.
3. Enter the HPSIM central management server name and
select Add Certificate From Serv
er.
4. After viewing the certificate, select Add Certificate to Trust List.
