Additional Product Interactions
In addition to the product interactions listed in Installing and
Managing HP-UX Virtual Partitions (vPars), please note the
following additions:
• Partition Manager
Partition Manager (parmgr) version B.11.11.01.05 or
later is required for installation of the vPars product. This is
true on both nPartition-able servers as well as non-
nPartitionable servers (rp7400/N4000 and rp5470/L3000). It
is normal to have this product installed on non-
nPartitionable servers.
Also, it is recommended to not execute par* commands or
parmgr on any virtual partition while migrating unbound
CPUs.
•Support Tools Manager
The Installing and Managing HP-UX Virtual Partitions
(vPars) manual incorrectly states that STM version
A.33.00 is equivalent to OnlineDiag version
