Installing MtIOscan11i
Installing From the CD-ROM
Step 1. Log in as root.
Step 2. Mount the CD drive to the desired directory. The following example uses the /cdrom
directory (you can find the CD drive device file by using the ioscan -fnC disk
command):
# mount -r /dev/dsk/clt2d0 /cdrom
Step 3. Back up your system before installing the product.
Step 4. On a stand-alone system, run the following command to install the product:
# swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s /cdrom MtIOscan11i
NOTE MtIOscan11i contains a kernel product. Thus, installing the product will cause a system
reboot after installation is complete.
