You can be independently specify which tests will be performed:
• for the next boot only
• for all subsequent boots
The tests are described in “System Boot Tests” on page 503.
NOTE By turning off some or all of the boot tests, you can shorten boot time,
perhaps significantly. However, in the event of a system panic or boot
failure, all tests will be executed on the subsequent boot.
