Diagnostic Flowcharts
M. Check the loopback interface. Use the command ping
127.0.0.1. If you cannot ping the loopback interface,
call HP. If the ping is successful, go to Flowchart 2.
N. Any other error message. If you received an error
message not listed on this flowchart, interpret the
message and take the appropriate action. If you need
assistance, call your HP representative. Be prepared to
discuss the problem as described in “Contacting Your
HP Representative” in chapter 5, “LAN Resources.”
