cbuf
cbuf partition_name
Displays the contents of the console buffer of a partition.
help
help or ? lists all monitor commands.
lifls
Lists the files in the LIF area
getauto
Displays the contents of the AUTO file in the LIF area
MON> getauto
hpux /stand/vpmon
log
Displays the contents, including warning and error messages, of the Monitor log. The Monitor
log holds up to 16KB of information in a circular log buffer. The information is displayed in
chronological order.
ls
ls [-alniFH ] [ directory]
Lists the contents of directory. This command is similar to the Unix ls command. Directory must
be on a HFS file system. /stand is the default directory. The ls command-line options are the
same as the Unix shell ls options. For detailed explanations, see the ls(1M) manpage. Example
to view the listing of files in vpar2’s /stand directory:
MON> ls /stand
lost+found ioconfig bootconf system
system.d vmunix dlkm.vmunix.prev build
kernrel rootconf vpdb vpmon.dmp
vmunix.backup system.prev vmunix.prev dlkm
vpdb.backup vpmon
