Collect Key Install Information
During the cold-install process, you will be prompted for your system’s
identity and network addresses. Use Appendix A, “Data Collection
Tables,” on page 95 to record the data on paper or on another computer
for access during the cold-install.
IMPORTANT You must provide all of the data in the data tables to install HP-UX 11i
Version 1.6 (with the exception of the networking information if you are
installing a stand-alone system).
By completing the tables prior to beginning the install of HP-UX 11i
Version 1.6, you will have all the data you need, in one place, to
successfully complete the install once you have started.
