Step 12. At the end of the Guided Installation session, a screen is displayed that

enables you to review any messages that Ignite-UX encountered. If there

are any errors, resolve them before continuing with the installation.

NOTE Ignore any message stating that /var needs to be larger than available

to hold a dump file. /var typically only needs to be set to 50-100 percent

as large as the current memory to handle dump files.

Task 4: Deselecting OE Software Bundles

If you use the Guided Installation or Advanced Installations, then you

can deselect the software bundles that are installed by default. For a list

of default-installed software bundles, see “Default-Installed Software” on

page 184.

If you choose the No User Interface option, then you cannot deselect

the default-installed software bundles.

To deselect the software bundles:

Step 1. In the Guided Installation or Advanced Installation windows, select the

Software tab.

Step 2. Use the arrow keys to select a bundle and the spacebar to change the

option.

IMPORTANT Do not deselect the HPUXBaseAux, HWEnable11i, OnlineDiag,

FEATURE11-11, or BUNDLE11i bundles. If in doubt, leave the

selections as default. Other software products may be selectable.

However, HP recommends that you do not deselect any products at this

time. For example, you may deselect a software bundle that is necessary

for another program to work correctly.
