Offline Diagnostics Environment
Offline Diagnostics Environment (ODE) is an offline support tools platform on HP 9000
systems. ODE enables users to troubleshoot a system that is running without an
operating system and systems that cannot be tested using the online tools.
Summary of Change
With the September 2005 release of HP-UX 11i, the following changes have been made:
• For HP-UX 11i v1, the Offline Diagnostics tools will no longer be available on the
Support Plus media. Instead, they will be delivered on the PA-RISC Offline
Diagnostics CD, which can be downloaded or ordered through
http://www.hp.com/go/softwaredepot and entering “Offline Diagnostics” in the
search window.
• For HP-UX 11i v1, the Offline Diagnostics LIFLOAD package will no longer be
delivered on the OnlineDiag bundle,

but instead will be delivered on the PA-RISC
