4 HP-UX 11i Operating Environment

HP-UX 11i Operating Environment (new at 11i original
release)
The HP-UX 11i release is available in one of the following Operating Environments
(OEs):
HP-UX 11i OE
HP-UX 11i Enterprise OE
HP-UX 11i Mission Critical OE
HP-UX 11i Minimal Technical OE
HP-UX 11i Technical Computing OE
You can choose the HP-UX 11i Operating Environment that is best suited for your
computing environment. Although there are five OEs available, only one OE can be
installed and operate on your HP 9000 server or workstation. The application contents of
the HP-UX 11i Operating Environments available for your HP 9000 servers or
workstations are shown below:
