Below are the warnings that occur during an update from 10.20 to 11i:

Defect or Error Messages:

WARNING: An obsolete version of DFS was found to be installed and configured

on this machine. At the time of this HP-UX release, there was no

compatible version of DFS available. DFS will be removed from this

system while update from 10.20 to 11.X

WARNING: The product DFS-Core will be removed during update from 10.20 to 11.X

WARNING: The "checkinstall" script for "DCE-Core.DCE-CORE-RUN" had a

warning (exit code "2"). The script location was

"/var/tmp/BAAa06870/catalog/DCE-Core.2/DCE-CORE-RUN/checkinstall".

* This script had warnings but the execution of this fileset will still proceed.

Check the above output from the script for further details.

Explanation:

These warnings have been added intentionally to inform customers that the DFS environment will

be lost if they upgrade to 11i. Since DFS may be an important component, customers can act

accordingly to take preventive action after seeing the warning. Hence, the warning will continue to

exist as it is intended to make customers aware of the effect on DFS when migrating to 11i.
