HP-UX 11i Test Procedures
Headline:
X11MotifDevKit incompatible error after update, 10.20 to 11i.
Defect or Error Messages:
This occurred after updating from 10.20 to 11i TCOE, which included 10.20 products that make
up the 11i OEs and selectable as part of the starting point for this test.
(This test was to simulate customers coming from a 10.20 Technical Server on an s800 [in this case
a K460] to the 11i TCOE.)
ERROR: [140167] The product "X11MotifDevKit,l=/,r=B.10.20.02" is not
compatible with this system's architecture or operating
system.

Explanation:
This occurred because the 10.20 bundles, B6265AA, were installed as a part of the 10.20 bases.
The B6265AA bundle is the 3D GraphicsDevKit s800 free supplement to HP-UX DevKit.
Within this bundle, the product.fileset, GraphicsPEX5DK.PEX5-PRG, has a corequisite for
X11MotifDevKit. However, X11MotifDevKit, was not replaced during the update. X11MotifDevKit
is no longer a corequisite for GraphicsPEX5DK in 11i.
You will need to update X11MotifDevKit from your application media for 11i.
