What’s in the Remaining Chapters?
Here is a listing of the remaining chapters of this Release Notes document:
• Chapter 2, “What’s New at a Glance,” provides a quick overview of the changes to
HP-UX first introduced in the initial release of HP-UX 11i v1 and in subsequent
updates to the release.
• Chapter 3, “HP-UX 11i Version 1 Release Overview,” introduces the HP-UX 11i v1
release with an overview of the Operating Environments and other features.
• Chapter 4, “nPartition (Hard Partition) Systems,” describes HP’s new
high-performance HP-UX server environment.
• Chapter 5, “Workstation/Server Specific Information,” presents information on
which platforms support the 11i v1 release, as well as other platform-specific
information.
• Chapter 6, “HP-UX 11i Version 1 Operating Environment Applications,” presents
information on each of the five Operating Environments, including the new
“Minimal Technical Operating Environment.”
