For a current list of driver versions, go to the ITRC web site, http://itrc.hp.com.
Click navigate knowledge trees and response center FAQs. After logging in (if necessary),
scroll to the Hardware area and navigate the links to networks/mass storage
connectivity/fibre channel/technical support. Once you are on the Fibre Channel page,
select the Tachlite driver table in the “at a glance” box.
Summary of Changes
• Boot support for the A6685A and A6685A HSC adapters on selected platforms will
be available later in 2001. For the latest information on boot support for these
adapters and other support information, see the web site mentioned above.
This version of the driver continues to support the following features:
• Fabric zoning and cascading
• Fabric boot and dump for supported platforms (PCI A5158A only)
• Supported configurations
— Arbitrated private loop
— Direct fabric attachment
— QuickLoop (translative mode)
— Public Loop

scsiU320-00 Driver Bundle
updated for June
2004
The scsiU320-00 bundle containing the mpt driver has been updated with quality and
diagnostic improvements for Ultra320 SCSI solutions, including core and add-on HP
adapters.
new for December
2003
The December 2003 release of HP-UX 11i provides support for the yet-to-be-released HP
A7173A PCI-X Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI Host Bus Adapter. The scsiU320-00
bundle is always installed and provides the driver mpt.
When the A7173A is available, the driver (mpt) will also be available at
http://software.hp.com.
