HP-UX Webmin-based Admin 1.0.05.01 is a minor enhancement release:
Added partial support for additional Apache LDAP modules (mod_auth_ldap,
mod_ldap), which are available starting with HP-UX Apache-based Web Server
version 1.0.05.01.
new for June 2003 HP-UX Webmin-based Admin v.1.0.01.02 includes the following:
Upgraded to Webmin 1.070: Vulnerability regarding miniserv.pl in (1) Webmin
before 1.070 and (2) Usermin before 1.000 does not properly handle metacharacters
such as line feeds and carriage returns (CRLF) in Base-64 encoded strings during
Basic authentication, which allows remote attackers to spoof a session ID and gain
root privileges. More details are available at http://cve.mitre.org/:
CAN-2003-0101.
Note: Usermin was not shipped in previous releases of Webmin bundled by HP.
HP-UX Webmin-based Admin has also been enhanced to integrate with HP-UX
Internet Express.
Plus enhancements from 1.0.00.01:
This release has been extensively enhanced to be more tightly integrated with the
HP-UX Web Server Suite. Many changes have been made, including new HP
look-and-feel, easy access to documentation, support for more Apache modules
(auth_ldap, mod_ssl), and added “help” for Apache directives.
