What’s in the Remaining Chapters?
Here is a listing of the remaining chapters of these Release Notes:
• Chapter 3, “Overview of the HP-UX 11i Release,” introduces the HP-UX 11i release
with an overview of the Operating Environments and other features.
• Chapter 2, “What’s New at a Glance,” provides a quick overview of the changes to
HP-UX first introduced in the initial release of HP-UX 11i and in subsequent
updates to the release.
• Chapter 4, “nPartition (Hard Partition) Systems,” describes Hewlett-Packard’s new
high-performance HP-UX server environment.
• Chapter 5, “Workstation/Server Specific Information,” presents information on
which platforms support the 11i release, as well as other platform-specific
information.
• Chapter 6, “HP-UX 11i Operating Environment Applications,” presents information
on each of the five Operating Environments, including the new “Minimal Technical
