What is New in the June 2001 Release?
The following summaries pertain to the HP-UX 11i v1 June 2001 update release. For
further information, see the indicated chapters in the HP-UX 11i June 2001 Release
Notes, available in its most current version at

The following is not an exhaustive list, so it strongly recommended that you consult the
HP-UX 11i June 2001 Release Notes for information that is not included here.
Chapter 2: Superdome Systems
• Partition Manager updated to support new hardware.
• Additional hardware enablement.
Chapter 4: HP-UX 11i Version 1 Operating Environment Applications
• HP Apache-based Web Server updated to fix defects and enhance performance.
•Java Runtime Environment and Java Plug-In updated to fix defects and enhance
performance.
• Judy Libraries added.
• New Minimal Technical Operating Environment now available.
• iCOD software removed from the Operating Environments.
• SD/Update-UX updated to enable updating the Operating Environments and
upgrading from the Enterprise OE to the Mission Critical OE.
Chapter 5: I/O and Networking Cards
• PCI TachyonTL driver updated to support the A6684A and A6685A.
• HyperFabric driver updated to support the A6092A and A6386A network cards.
• PCI RAID driver updated to fix defects.
Chapter 7: General System Administration and Performance Monitoring
• Diagnostics updated to support new hardware.
