What is New in the December 2006 Release?
The following summaries will give you a general picture of how the December 2006
release of HP-UX 11i v1 differs from the September 2005 release of HP-UX 11i v1.

Chapter 2: Introduction to HP-UX 11i Version 1 (see page 23)
• Software Pack: For December 2006, delivers new and updated optional core
enhancements for HP-UX 11i v1, including HP-UX Enhanced Publickey-LDAP,
PAM-Requisite, and Enhanced AutoFS. (See “Software Pack (Optional HP-UX 11i v1
Core Enhancements)” on page 33.)
Chapter 4: Workstation- and Server-Specific Information (see page 77)
• Graphics and Technical Computing bundle: Supports OpenGL 1.3 and GLX 1.3 on
the ATI FireGL X1, T2, and X3 graphics cards. (See “Graphics and Technical

• Hardware Enablement (HWE): Updated to pre-enable HP-UX support for new I/O

— HP Pay per use: Updated to B.11.11.08.00.01. Named changed from Pay Per Use;
