HP-UX Apache-based Web Server
Version 2.0.58.00 HP-UX Apache-based Web Server combines Apache with numerous
popular modules from other Open Source projects and provides HP value-added features
for the HP-UX platform:
• Scripting capabilities: PHP, mod_perl, CGI
• Content management: WebDAV, FrontPage Server Extensions 2002
• Security: authentication through an LDAP server, Webproxy, Chrooted environment,
SSL and TLS support
Summary of Change
This release of HP-UX Apache-based Web Server is primarily a defect fix release:
HP-UX Apache-based Web Server v.2.0.58.00
• Apache upgraded to 2.0.58
• mod_jk upgraded to 1.2.15
• mod_jk2 upgraded to 2.0.5
• mod_perl supports perl 5.8.8
• New Apache module, mod_auth_kerb, included

Impact
There are no known impacts other than those previously described.
Compatibility
This release is binary-compatible with Apache 2.0.50 and greater. All the modules
compiled with Apache 2.0.50 or greater will continue to work with this version since the
Apache API has not changed.
Performance
There are no known performance issues.
