Enhanced AutoFS
Enhanced AutoFS version B.11.11.0509.1 is a filesystem that automatically mounts
directories as they are accessed and unmounts them when access is no longer needed.
NOTE Enhanced AutoFS version B.11.11.0509.1 is available on the Software Pack (SPK) media
for December 2006. For more information about SPK, see “Software Pack (Optional
HP-UX 11i v1 Core Enhancements)” on page 33.
Summary of Change
Version B.11.11.0509.1 of Enhanced AutoFS delivers support for LDAP as a source of
automount maps (SR#8606407223).
Impact
The primary change with this new version of Enhanced AutoFS is to support LDAP as a
source of automount maps.
Compatibility
There are no known compatibility issues.
Performance
There will be no change to the performance of the system or product with this new
version of Enhanced AutoFS.
